Light
companies suggest 50 lights per foot.
We as decorators suggest 100 lights per foot
using 50 lite sets or 100 lite sets.
We do not recommend any lite strand over
100bulbs per strand. Remember that a 35 burns
brighter than a 50 ...and a 50 burns brighter
than a 100...so when you see these 150-200-300
lite strands they are all burning less bright.
And as a rule never add more the 300 lites off
of the same plug ( lite cord plug...not wall
socket ) it puts to much strain one the first
fuse and can cause that fuse to blow out
knocking all the others down the line out

Follow
these simple rules as you attach lights:
At eye
level and above, point the bulbs down, and
hide wires on top of the branches
Below eye
level, point the bulbs up, and hide wires
underneath the branches
Only wrap
when necessary, to avoid crushing the needles
Stick to a
pattern, if you begin wrapping clockwise,
always wrap clockwise
Always
return to the tree trunk before moving to the
next branch .
